Three miles from DuPont.

The closest town to the kennel, which changes what is worth doing with it.

The Drive

Is The Pet Brigade close enough to DuPont for daily daycare?

Yes, and that is the point of it. The Pet Brigade is about a 3 mile, 8 minute drive from DuPont, which is short enough that daycare works as a daily habit rather than an occasional one. Doors open at 5:45am on weekdays, so a drop off fits ahead of a PT formation.

Why People Here Book

What does a DuPont family actually use it for?

Mostly the weekday routine. At eight minutes each way, the daycare packages are the ones that pay off: five days for $165, ten for $310, twenty for $570 for the first dog. Boarding matters for the trips, but the short run is what makes The Pet Brigade a habit rather than a resort.

DuPont Questions

What DuPont households ask before booking?

Every question below arrived through The Pet Brigade's own contact form between May and September 2026, and the answers come from their published rates, hours, vaccination policy and service pages rather than from guesswork. They apply the same whether you drive the 3.0 miles in from DuPont or you already live on post.

What does daycare cost?

A single day is $36 for the first dog and $26 for a second. A half day, or the daycare and groom bundle, is $25.50. Packages bring it down: 5 days for $165, 10 for $310, 20 for $570, and they have to be used within six months. Second-dog pricing runs alongside every package on the rates page.

Do you take puppies?

Yes. Puppies have a separate play area away from the larger dogs, with nap time and socialising at their own pace. Every dog, puppies included, is screened before the first visit and needs current vaccination and fecal exam records. Call the office for the minimum age, which is tied to the vaccination schedule rather than a fixed birthday: (253) 912-4898.

I have three dogs. Can they board together, and do they get outside?

Yes to both. Family quarters are larger kennels for households with more than one pet, so dogs who live together can stay together. Every dog is outside for fresh air whenever they are not sleeping in their bunk, and the day includes community play time, walk time and, in summer, the pools.

What vaccinations does my pet need?

Dogs need rabies, distemper and bordetella; cats need rabies, feline leukemia and distemper. Distemper can be any combination shot, so DA2PP, DHPP, DHLPP and FVRCP all count. The full list is on the vaccinations page. If a vaccine is not recommended for your pet, they need a written exemption letter from your veterinarian.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations run through PawPartner, their booking portal, for boarding, grooming and daycare. Transportation, poop scoop, dog walking and litter box service are arranged by phone on (253) 912-4898.
