Pet Transportation

Their own van, for the weeks when you cannot be in two places at once.

Where It Goes

Where does The Pet Brigade's pet transport service go?

The Pet Brigade runs its own van to and from the airport, veterinary appointments, local area housing, JBLM lodging, daycare and grooming appointments, and almost anywhere else for almost any reason. It was built for the weeks when a family is changing duty stations or deploying and cannot be in two places.

Military communities are in constant flux, and the transport service exists for that. It runs to and from:

  • The airport
  • Veterinary appointments
  • Local area housing
  • Doggie daycare
  • Grooming appointments
  • JBLM lodging

If your pet has a vet appointment you cannot get out of work for, this is the answer. Think of it as a pet taxi, and it is available for transport almost anywhere for almost any reason.

Transport is booked by phone, not through the online portal. Call (253) 912-4898.

Transport Questions

What do people ask about pet transport?

The transport questions that reach The Pet Brigade are mostly about moving: a soldier deployed overseas whose spouse has orders, a family arriving at JBLM before their pet does, a heat embargo stopping a flight. The answers below cover where the van goes, how to reach the facility, and how to book.

Can you collect my pet?

Yes. They run their own transport van to and from the airport, veterinary appointments, local area housing, JBLM lodging, daycare and grooming appointments. It was built for exactly the weeks when a family is changing duty stations or deploying. Transport is booked by phone, not online.

Where are you, and can I get to you?

04907 Pendleton Ave, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA 98433, on Joint Base Lewis-McChord itself, off Pendleton Avenue near the Lewis Army Museum. It is the only privately owned boarding facility on a military post in the United States. Access to the post is controlled by JBLM, not by the kennel, so if you do not hold a DoD ID, call the office before you drive out: (253) 912-4898.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations run through PawPartner, their booking portal, for boarding, grooming and daycare. Transportation, poop scoop, dog walking and litter box service are arranged by phone on (253) 912-4898.
