Daycare
Doggie Daycare
A stimulating day out while you work, from 5:45am. Half days $25.50, single days $36, and packages down to $28.50 a day.

The Day
What happens during a day of doggie daycare?
A daycare day at The Pet Brigade means community playtime, extended walks, frisbee and fetch, and through the summer the sprinklers and the pools. Every dog is safely pre-screened before the first visit, has to be healthy, and needs current veterinary shot and fecal exam records on file before arriving.
The screening is not a formality. A first visit needs current veterinary shot records and a fecal exam on file before your dog is put in with anybody else's, which is the reason the groups work.
Playtime is grouped by size and temperament rather than by whoever is in that morning, so a small anxious dog is not sorted into the same yard as a pack of adolescent labradors.
- Doors open at 5:45am Monday to Friday, which suits a PT schedule
- Half day, or the daycare and groom bundle, at $25.50
- 5, 10 and 20 day packages, usable within six months
- Saturday daycare by appointment; call the office to arrange it

Puppies
Can puppies go to daycare at The Pet Brigade?
Yes. The Pet Brigade puts small puppies in a separate play area away from the larger dogs, with nap time, relaxation and socialising at their own pace. The minimum age is tied to the vaccination schedule rather than a fixed birthday and is not published, so call the office with your puppy's vaccination dates.
Puppy days are built around naps as much as play, because a fourteen-week-old put in with a full pack for eight hours comes home wrecked rather than socialised.
Parents ask about the starting age constantly, usually having worked it out from the rabies schedule themselves. It is not published, so send your puppy's vaccination dates to the office on (253) 912-4898 and they will tell you when to start.

Book a dayDaycare Questions
What do people ask before the first day of daycare?
These daycare questions came through The Pet Brigade's own contact form between May and September 2026: what a day costs, whether puppies are accepted and from what age, whether dogs from one household stay together, what vaccinations are needed, and whether you can see the place first. Answers come from their published policies.

Do you take puppies?
Yes. Puppies have a separate play area away from the larger dogs, with nap time and socialising at their own pace. Call the office for the minimum age, which is tied to the vaccination schedule rather than a fixed birthday: (253) 912-4898.
I have three dogs. Can they board together, and do they get outside?
Yes to both. Family quarters are larger kennels for households with more than one pet, so dogs who live together can stay together. Every dog is outside for fresh air whenever they are not sleeping in their bunk, and the day includes community play time, walk time and, in summer, the pools.
What vaccinations does my pet need?
Dogs need rabies, distemper and bordetella; cats need rabies, feline leukemia and distemper. Distemper can be any combination shot, so DA2PP, DHPP, DHLPP and FVRCP all count. The full list is on the vaccinations page. If a vaccine is not recommended for your pet, they need a written exemption letter from your veterinarian.
Can I see the place before I book?
Yes. Stop by the office for a tour any time of day, no appointment needed. There is more on the tour page.
